DGDA will not be held responsible if any side effects occur after using the vaccine
Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) has given permission to Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM) to import the Russian Covid-19 vaccine "Sputnik V".
DGDA gave a no objection certificate (NOC) to the Russian organization in a gazette notification published on Thursday.
ROSATOM can import 1,000 vaccines for the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian employees of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP), said the notice.
DGDA will not be held responsible if any side effects occur after using the vaccine and the NOC will be valid for six months from the date of issue, it added.
